Apple released iPhone/iPod touch/iPad updates today to close the pdf security hole that represented a pretty severe security risk (and was being used to jailbreak the devices). There are some more details on the security content here. The iPhone and iPod Touch are updated to iOS 4.0.2 whereas the iPad gets updated to 3.2.2.

if you rushed to update your devices you should also visit the iPhone Dev Center to download the updated SDK. As always the download includes Xcode which makes it a big (2.5GB) download even though Xcode has not changed. The usual caveats about new Apple releases apply…
